To 'celebrate' the end of the first phase of a consulting project in the Philippines, the team provided us with a local delicacy to try. Balut is a fertilized egg, eaten shortly before hatching. Our Filipino colleagues take much pride in the fact that Balut has been on Fear Factor. Twice.

To give credit where it is due, when asked at the beginning of the project if we would like to try Balut, two of us said 'no', but one said 'later', and that opened the door. I wouldn't point fingers, of course, be we made him go first ;).
